D.I.Y. Avocado Recipes
Can you look at your refrigerator and see what you can do with it?
But, before you have to look at this article, to know the recipes that might help you have a great beauty and shiny hair.
Avocado Hair conditioner
Ingredients:- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 2 tablespoon sour cream or
- plain yogurt
- juice of 1/2 lemon
-stir all the ingredients until you have a smooth paste; using a fork or a blender.
-To use, apply entire mixture to your head ( with your hair dry) and message into your scalp. wrap your hair in a warm towel or put on a shower cap and leave the treatment on for 20 minutes. Rinse well with a warm water, then shapoo as usual.
Quick Tip: save the avocado pit! you can use it as a message too or grind it up use in a body scrub.
Hydrating Face Mask (for all skin types)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Ripe avocado
- 1 Teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil or vitamin E oil
- 1 Teaspoon of fresh lemon juice (optional if you have very oily skin)
- 1 Egg white (optional if you have very oily skin)
Moisturizing Eye Mask
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup of a ripe avocado
- 1/4 Cup of pure aloe vera gel
Mash the avocado and mix in the aloe vera gel. On a clean face, apply the mixture under your eyes for 10 minutes. Gently wipe it away and rinse your face with warm water.
Silky Soft Hair Mask
Ingredients:
- 1 Ripe avocado
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 Teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
- Disposable shower cap
Avocado body butter
Ingredients:- 1 ripe avocado
Remove the avocado pit and skin, then mash avocado up in a small bowl. Slather the mixture all over your body, paying attention to rough spots like knees, elbows and heels. Leave on from 20 minutes then rinse with cool water.
Avocado facial cleanser
Ingredients:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 avocado
Beat egg yolk until its frothy. Add milk and avocado to the mixture. Blend until the concoction is a lotion-like consistency. Use mixture to replace your normal facial cleanser. Store leftover mixture in refrigerator for up to three days.
